Shane MacGowan 'so happy' to receive visit from Imelda May while in hospital

It comes after the Pogues singer gave Taylor Swift's boyfriend the thumbs-up for his rendition of Fairytale of New York

Imelda May paid a visit to her friend and fellow singer Shane MacGowan over the weekend as the Pogues star receives treatment in hospital.

MacGowan’s wife Victoria Mary Clarke shared a picture to X (formally Twitter) of the Fairytale of New York singer with May, telling her followers that her husband was “so happy” to see the singer over the weekend.
