Nicolas Cage: I don’t like being called an actor, I prefer thespian

Nicolas Cage says he prefers to be called a thespian rather than an actor but acknowledged he risked sounding like “a pretentious a-hole”.

The Oscar-winner likened his process to “shamanism” by “going into the imagination”.
