Raised by the Village: Living-off grid helps teens reconnect with life   

The popular TV series 'Raised by the Village' is back. Embracing a wifi-free outdoor lifestyle, urban children tap into other aspects of their personality and discover new interests 

Karl stayed with the Hynes family as part of the  RTÉ series  'Raised By The Village'.

Thirteen-year-old Dion from Clondalkin spends her nights on TikTok and a lot of her days under the duvet, while Mullingar-based Karl, 15, has retreated from his family into his all-consuming gamer world.

Both teens appear in the first episode of RTÉ One’s Raised by the Village, which, after a highly successful first season in 2019, is back for a new four-part series.
