We recently had a second child, and now our three-year-old demands to sleep in his parents’ bed instead of his bed. I would appreciate your advice on how to get him to sleep in his own bed again.

The first four months of a baby’s life are referred to as the ‘fourth trimester’ or co-dependent stage of development. During this early developmental stage, parents establish a new shared rhythm and begin to feel ‘in synch’ with their babies. It takes time.
