"Men also tend to have oilier skin with larger pores due to more active sebaceous (oil) glands. Men’s skin ages differently as well — often with a slower rate of fine line formation but deeper wrinkles once they appear. These physiological differences mean that skincare should be tailored accordingly."

November is Men's Health Month, and I am happy to report that skincare has become a bigger part of men’s overall wellbeing, with many starting to look beyond the functional and seeking out innovative and feelgood products.

Shaving aides and other more functional products still largely dominate the grooming market, but Mintel has revealed a 14.7% increase in product launches, with an increase in innovative products created for men, including eco-friendly tools and sophisticated, premium formulas.
