It was a night of glitz and glamour in Los Angeles, as the biggest stars in Hollywood stepped out for the Academy Awards, the biggest night in film.
Among them was Cork actor Cillian Murphy, who took home the gong for best actor for Oppenheimer.
The Ballintemple man has been styled by Rose Forde throughout the award show season, and they opted for a classic look for his biggest night yet.
Murphy was wearing a custom Atelier Versace tuxedo on the night with a specially-made brooch designed by Hong Kong-based Sauvereign, in a nod to Oppenheimer’s invention, the atomic bomb. He combined this with black, patent leather boots and a silk bow tie.
Donatella Versace, the Italian fashion designer and businesswoman, told magazine she loved collaborating with Murphy on his clothes saying, “he understands and appreciates every stitch”.

Irish hair stylist Gareth Bromell, who originally hails from Limerick, was also involved in the look on the night.
He said he used The Cream 230 from Rituals by Sisley Paris to Murphy's damp hair and dried it using the Dyson Supersonic professional hair dyer’s diffuser attachment on low heat. Then he finished and set with hairspray.

The other big winner on the night was Emma Stone, who took home the award for best actress for her performance in Poor Things, produced by Ireland’s Element Pictures. Stone wore a custom mint peplum gown by Louis Vuitton.
While accepting her award, she admitted she thought her dress was "broke" following her enthusiastic reaction to Ryan Gosling's performance of I'm Just Ken earlier in the night.

It was a very successful night for Element Pictures with Poor Things picking up four Oscars on the night, however Irish cinematographer Robbie Ryan missed out for his work on Poor Things.
Here’s a selection of what some of the other stars wore on the night.
