Street trend: Louise Heraghty

What are you wearing?

I’m wearing an A|wear blazer (€45), Oasis dress (approx €60); Penneys shoes (€18); and Newbridge jewellery which was a gift.

Describe your style in three words?

Colourful, tailored, on-trend

How long does it take you to get dressed in the morning?

It depends on what I’m doing that day. If I’m teaching a fitness class or working out it takes me less than five minutes. If I am on weather or going into another job, I will obviously put a bit more effort in so it could take me 20 minutes (not including drying hair — that takes forever).

Fashion or function — which word best describes your attitude to clothes and why?

Unfortunately, of late it has been function but only because I am running from place to place and often have to change from normal clothes to running gear or vice versa. I would love to have more time/money to invest in glamorous girlie fashion.

Where do you like to shop?

I am a lover of high street stores like Monsoon, Oasis and Zara. In fact, my wardrobe is about 75% Oasis because their style and shape just suits me and they always have great winter coats that last for a few seasons.

Who or what is Ireland’s greatest undiscovered gem?

Aoife Harrisson ( www.Aoifeharrissondesign.ie ) is a milliner based on Dublin’s Fitzwilliam Street Upper and has some absolutely amazing hats and headpieces to suit all occasions.

Why does your style/outfit work?

I like this outfit because it is versatile. I have worn the dress to a wedding (by dressing it up with shawl, headpiece and jewellery) but you could also wear it for an evening out. Although the heels are high they are surprisingly comfortable. A tailored jacket goes with most things and I love this colour.
