I have always been vocal about the importance of applying SPF, but I never thought I’d have to be just as vocal about avoiding sunbeds.

After years of skincare obsessives like myself preaching about sun protection, extreme tanning unfortunately seems to be back in vogue. The UV index, developed in the 1990s to help people take precautions against excessive sun exposure, is now being used by some for the opposite purpose, to identify the best time to get a tan!
