Ed Sheeran ignored by fans as he played a gig for $2
At roughly €80 a ticket, Ed Sheeran has been packing out stadiums and concert halls all over the world this year, so you’d think an intimate show for just two Australian dollars would be the most popular gig in town, right?
Think again.
Popular Australian radio presenters, Hamish and Andy decided to put this to the test and set up a Ed Sheeran Peep Show - a 30 second private gig with the star himself, and see how many people would show up.
Don’t worry, it’s not what you think - the experiment was all above board.
While Ed sat waiting on a stool in the red curtain booth, Hamish - who of course was dressed up as a fairly dodgy looking character - invited members of the public to come in.
Let’s just say Ed wasn’t the most popular person in the world that day.
Awkward.
Poor Ed.
Turns out, we were the only ones screaming at the video as people refused to enter.
You know, if someone offered me a Ed Sheeran peep show I wouldn't say no. I'd probably throw all available cash at him.
