READ: Eminem’s heartfelt letter to Tupac’s mother
A heartfelt letter showing a rare insight into Eminem’s emotional side has surfaced online.
The letter was written back in 1996 following the death of Tupc Shakur, and addressed to his mother.
"You have no idea how much your son and his music has inspired, not only the ‘Hip Hop’ world, but speaking for myself, has inspired my whole career,” it reads.
“He was and still is the true definition of a Soldier."

Although it appeared in the 2008 book Tupac Remembered, it has been doing the rounds today when a fan uploaded it to Reddit.
"When I was feeling at my worst, I knew I could put that Tupac tape in, and suddenly things weren't so bad. Thank you for giving us his spirit and yours! God bless you," he adds.
"Thank you for being so kind to me. You are a true Queen, and I mean that in every sense of the word. I will never forget the opportunities you have given me."
Since then Eminem continues to speak highly of the deceased hip-hop star, and how much his music has inspired him as a person.
The rapper, whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III, also attached a sketch of the deceased rapper and went on to apologize that he “could have done it a little better, if [he] has the right pencils”.
