Two men were arrested by gardaí at the scene after they were pinned down by nine staff.

"This was a good lesson for the criminals. These were two idiots," one of the workers involved in the incident told the Herald.

Stephen Clinch, 49, was still being questioned at Store Street Garda Station last night "after a dramatic incident", the Herald.ie reports.

Clinch, who previously claimed that he was a reformed criminal, played Noely in the most recent series of RTÉ's hit crime drama.

You might remember him from that infamous Fran shower scene in the final episode of season five of Love/Hate.
