A film actor who starred in the Love/Hate TV series has been jailed for four and a half years after he admitted carrying out a €50,000 armed robbery.

Love/Hate star Stephen Clinch has been served with a book of evidence, and sent forward for trial, over a €50,000 armed robbery at a hotel in Dublin City centre.

Love/Hate actor Stephen Clinch has appeared in court today accused of stealing more than €50,000 during an armed robbery at the Gate Hotel on Dublin’s Parnell Street on Monday morning.

As reported by the Herald.ie, Clinch was one of the two men arrested by Gardai at the scene after they were pinned down by the staff.
