WATCH: Was the EastEnders killer accidentally revealed last night?
EastEnders 'who killed Lucy Beale?' storyline took a dramatic turn last night in the first of a series of semi-live episodes in celebration of the show’s 30th anniversary.
Fans were left in shock after Max Branning accused his youngest daughter, Abi Branning, of murdering Lucy.
Did he just mess up his lines or is Abi Branning the killer?
Max informed Abi that her older sister Lauren had fled the Square after discovering who the murder is by piecing together the clues in detective Emma Summerhayes' case file.
Then in the fully live scene, Max then told a confused Abi: ''She knows that you killed Lucy!''
Was that meant to be “She knows who killed Lucy”?
However, a spokesman for the show insists the line was correct.
So, what does this mean?
More explosive scenes are expected throughout week, as bosses have promised that the killer will be officially revealed in a flashback episode that is set to air on Thursday.
We're thinking that incidents such as this will occur over the next few nights, leaving fans at the end of their tether by Thursday.
Are they slowly crossing off the suspects? Does that mean Abi isn't the killer?
