Swift to appear alongside Deschanel in 'New Girl'

Taylor Swift is to guest star in 'New Girl'.

The 'State of Grace' hitmaker – who is known to be a big fan of the series - will make a cameo appearance in the May 14 finale of the comedy show, which stars Zooey Deschanel as adorable-but-awkward teacher Jess.
