Chegwin back for 'Dancing On Ice'
Keith Chegwin is back in the rink in the new series of Dancing On Ice a year after he crashed out of the show when he fell and broke his ribs.
The presenter, who rose to fame on the BBC childrenâs show 'Multi-Coloured Swap' Shop, was so badly injured after his fall last year he had to pull out of the programme.
He is joined in the new series by stars including 'Baywatch' actress Pamela Anderson, 'X Factor' winner Shayne Ward and Lauren Goodger from 'The Only Way Is Essex'.
Olympians Beth Tweddle and Luke Campbell are also getting their skates on along with soap stars Samia Ghadie, who plays Maria Connor in 'Coronation Street', and Matt Lapinskas who played Anthony Moon in 'EastEnders'.
Anthea Turner, Joe Pasquale and former MP Oona King will be joined on the ITV show, which makes its return on Sunday January 6, by Welsh rugby player Gareth Thomas.
The show, presented by Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley, also sees the return of sharp-tongued judge Jason Gardiner.
Australian Gardiner, who famously described watching swimming champion Sharron Davies dance as looking at âfaecal matter that wonât flushâ, started as a judge when the show launched in 2006.
He also caused controversy when he was accused of bullying former judge Karen Barber by telling her: âIf your opinion still mattered, youâd be on the panel.â
Gardinerâs comments have also included telling Chloe Madeley she had a âbaboon bottomâ and ex-Neighbours star Craig McLachlan that he looked like he was performing with a âsoiled nappyâ.
Last yearâs show was won by 'Emmerdale' star Matthew Wolfenden.
