Kim: Amazing none of us is into drugs
Kim Kardashian is surprised none of her family have got into drugs.
The 31-year-old socialite and her siblings, Kourtney, Khloe and Rob, have had a very privileged yet sometimes difficult upbringing - their father, Robert, died of cancer in 2003 - and Kim admits they could have all gone off the rails.
Kim - who also has teenage half-siblings, Kendall and Kylie, from her mother Kris Jenner's marriage to Bruce Jenner - is proud that her family has also avoided many of the temptations fame brings with it.
She said: "It's crazy that none of us have got into drugs, considering the upbringing we've had. But my idols were women like Salma Hayek and Jennifer Lopez, so I gravitated more towards that model."
Kim credits her late father, lawyer Robert Kardashian, for instilling a sense of self-worth and discipline into her, Kourtney and Khloe which means they have never gone down a dark road.
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star - who is dating Kanye West - remembers her dad was strict with all his children even when they were teenagers and wouldn't let them miss church.
She told Tatler magazine: "My dad really set the tone - we weren't allowed credit cards until we were 18, and we could never sleep out on Saturday nights because we had to go to church on a Sunday morning."
