We all know weddings can be expensive, but one Irish couple has shown how to save on some of the main trimmings.

Hugh and Lynn got married last weekend, and guests were impressed by the tasty food, the choice of drinks and the beautiful flowers. Little did they know that they had been bought for the big day at Lidl.

The discount supermarket even asked celebrity chef, Paul Flynn to design and prepare an amazing dinner menu for guests.

The couple saved €5,000 on the day, and Lidl even surprised them with a very generous gift at the end of their special day.
