WATCH: Hailo’s ’heterophobic’ taxi driver pranks passengers

Hailo Ireland have made no secret of their campaign for a Yes vote in Friday’s marriage equality referendum.

As well as their rainbow car, the taxi company also promised free lifts to help people get to the polling station.

And now they've released this prank video of a 'heterophobic' taxi driver driving around Dublin and talking to fares about his distaste for straight couples with a hidden camera filming the whole thing.

The company says their aim for the video was "to show just how ridiculous discrimination is".

"Women are from Venus, men are from Mars. I mean, why would you get with someone from a different planet?"
