Talk show host Oprah Winfrey will speak in a live intimate conversation in Dublin's 3Arena as part of an upcoming business and leadership summit in September.
is described as a rare opportunity to see Winfrey live in Ireland, where she will share the insights, life experiences, and perspectives that have shaped her career.
The evening is part of the Pendulum Summit’s first-ever autumn event and takes place at the 3Arena on Monday, September 14. It will be hosted by David Meade, who will open the evening with a short speaking piece, and feature a performance by Niall Breslin (Bressie) and The Polaris Quartet ahead of Winfrey’s appearance on stage.
Meade and Breslin will also speak together on stage before Winfrey takes to the stage for a live, in-depth conversation with Meade.
“Oprah has been an inspirational compass for me my whole life,” said Norma Murphy, co-founder and creative director of Up Close With.
“She treats vulnerability as strength, self-awareness as power, and has always believed that true success lies in lifting others. I am so grateful that she has chosen Up Close With for her first live appearance and that we get to bring her to Dublin.”
Organisers say ticket demand is expected to be exceptionally high, with prices ranging from €25 to €695, including premium & VIP experiences.
Presale opens on Thursday, May 7, while general sale begins on Friday, May 8, on Ticketmaster.
