The world-renowned, Turner Prize-nominated artist Sean Scully marks his 80th year with Tapestry, a new exhibition bringing together four distinct bodies of work, each rooted in a deep engagement with the emotional potential of abstraction.
Bringing together recent pencil works, hand-woven tapestries created with Mourne Textiles, powerful new paintings from his Stack series, and intimate oil-on-copper pieces, the exhibition highlights the way drawing functions as a foundational structure in Scully’s work.

Daniel Craig returns as Benoit Blanc in the third installment of the Knives Out franchise. It's getting a limited release in cinemas before hitting Netflix on December 12. Craig is joined by an all-star cast headed by Josh O'Connor, Glenn Close, and Josh Brolin.
A murder in a church represents Blanc's "most dangerous case yet", with director Rian Johnson reportedly modelling the film on the locked-room mystery subgenre of crime fiction. It will be available on Netflix on December 12.
Directed by Cork’s queen of panto Catherine Mahon-Buckley and presented in association with CADA Performing Arts, this glittering production of Cinderella promises a fresh, fabulous twist on the timeless fairytale. A series of events and fundraisers will take place throughout West Cork this weekend under the umbrella title of ‘West Cork For Gaza’. De Barra’s are hosting a plethora of acts from midday till last call, including authors Louise O’Neill and Maeve Higgins.
Beloved local stars like Setmaker and the Céilí All-Stars feature, while the big attractions include Mick Flannery, Susan O’Neill, and comedian David O’Doherty. All proceeds will be donated to Tea Collective.
