Taylor Swift is engaged to Travis Kelce.
The billionarie popstar announced her engagement to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end in a joint post on Instagram.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨 ,” she captioned the post.
A five-photo carousel included a close-up shot of the engagement ring and Kelce on one knee.
The pair, both 35, first made contact when Kelce attended Swift's The Eras Tour and was disappointed he didn't get a chance to meet the singer backstage.
Speaking on his podcast, he told his co-host and brother Jason Kelce how he had wanted to give Swift his phone number via friendship bracelet but was denied the chance to meet her.
The star reached out to him following the podcast's release and the two began dating quietly.
The pair were linked together for the first time when the singer attended the Chiefs vs. Bears game on September 24, 2023. She attended 13 games that season, culminating in Super Bowl 58 when Kansas City beat the 49ers.
Kelce attended 14 of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concerts last year, including her final show in Dublin.
Covering this month's GQ magazine, Kelce opened up about the pair's relationship.
"Whenever I’m with her, it feels like we’re just regular people. We’re just two people that are in love."
Swift, for her part, has said Kelce's courtship felt like being in an "80s John Hughes movie".
There's no word on when the nuptials will take place as of yet, but Swift's forthcoming record is due for release October 3.
