Cillian Murphy’s father says the family marked Sunday night’s Oscar win the same way they celebrated his initial nomination — with Mary Murphy's homemade cake.
Breandán Ó Murchú spoke as Gaeilge to Saol ó Dheas on RTÉ’s Raidió na Gaeltachta on Tuesday and said the family went “beagáinín as ár meabhair” - 'a little crazy' - when Cillian won. He said he enjoyed his son's acceptance speech.
