Pearl Jam set to play Irish gig as part of summer world tour

Pearl Jam are set to become the latest superstar musicians to play an Irish concert in 2024.
It will the be the legendary group's first performance here since 2010 and their first ever outdoor Irish gig.
The Seattle group confirmed the full details of their world tour, including a stop at Dublin's Marlay Park on June 22.
Support for the show will come from Richard Ashcroft, best known as the frontman of '90s icons the Verve, and Dublin's own The Murder Capital.
The group released their latest single at midnight.
They follow in the footsteps of fellow rock icons AC/DC who announced a Croke Park gig yesterday.
Ireland is set to be a hotbed of major gigs this year.
Taylor Swift and Coldplay are among the big names bringing their shows to the capital, with Olivia Rodrigo, Liam Gallagher, Green Day, The Killers, Pink, Bryan Adams and Blink-182 also set to thrill thousands of lucky ticketholders in the next few months.
Cork will also host some spectacular shows this year: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band roll into Páirc ui Chaoimh in May, with Take That, Becky Hill and Sting among the international superstars who will follow in the footsteps of 'The Boss' by performing on Leeside.
Not to be outdone, there are plenty of Irish icons who will have homecoming gigs in 2024.
Cian Ducrot will return to Cork in June at Musgrave Park, with Picture This also appearing in the same month.
Niall Horan has sold out Dublin's 3Arena in February, with rising country star CMAT heading to Fairview Park in June and Hozier playing Marlay Park in July.
On top of that, 70,000 will descend on Stradbally in Laois in August to attend Electric Picnic, with the lineup yet to be announced.
We do know that Doja Cat, 21 Savage and Belters Only will headline July's Longitude.
