AC/DC will perform in Dublin later this year

Legendary group AC/DC will bring their Power Up European tour to Ireland this summer.

The tour will see the band play 21 dates across countries including Germany, Italy, and Spain, before wrapping up with this final show at Croke Park on August 17.

AC/DC comprises of Angus Young on lead guitar, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug and a new bass player to carry the torch for Cliff Williams.

The Power Up tour is named for their latest studio album, which reached number one in 21 countries.

It is the band’s first tour in Europe for eight years and will see them performing at some of the biggest stadiums across the continent.

Tickets for the shows will be available from 9am on Friday, February 16.

Celebrating 50 years together, AC/DC is one of the most influential rock bands in history, with over 200 million albums sold worldwide. The band’s ‘Back In Black’ LP is the ‘bestselling album by any band ever’.
