Kerry TD Michael Healy-Rae has posted a song set to the tune ofto promote his bid to hold onto his seat in the Kingdom.
Healy-Rae, along with his brother Danny came first and second in the south-west constituency in 2016 amassing over 30,000 first-preference votes between them.
In the song, set to the tune of the Rebel song Healy-Rae is boosted as a candidate who will work "night and day" and is someone who "always has solutions."
Whether deliberate or not, setting the song to this tune will no doubt remind voters of the recent controversy surrounding the State officially commemorating Royal Irish Constabulary members - plans that were eventually shelved.
The Healy-Rae political dynasty shows no sign of slowing down ahead of next month's ballot after Jackie, Johnny and Maura were all elected to the Kerry County Council last year - with all three earning their seats on the first count.
Mr Healy-Rae recently sent out a fundraising appeal to supporters, given people in his constituency the chance to enter a raffle with a top prize of €1,000, with funds raised going to his campaign.
Gardaí are not commenting on whether there is a difficulty with the outspoken Kerry TD getting a permit to hold this raffle.
