A Cork restaurant is looking to identify these ladies

The photo was taken 66 years ago which means the women are likely to be in their 80s or early 90s today.

A brand new Cork restaurant has launched a search for the ladies of Thompson Bakery in a bid to treat them to a luxury meal on their opening night.

The Glass Curtain restaurant, which is currently under construction within the walls of the former bakery on McCurtain Street, would like to acknowledge the building's history and nod to its former workers.
