A lack of privacy has ruined our sex life

Question: My girlfriend and I are staying with her parents while we save for a home together. The problem is that the spare room is also her mother’s study and she’s constantly popping in. On top of that, the bed squeaks whenever we attempt to have sex. How can we adapt our love life to these new surroundings?
