Indiependence Music & Arts Festival has announced the first acts for next years line up.

Some of Ireland’s biggest and best live acts will be coming to Cork in August for the festival which has been running since 2006.

Representing the UK, Jake Bugg and Everything Everything will also be coming to perform at the festival.

Tom Grennan and Brit Pop legends Cast have also been announced.

Also announced today for the Deer Farm, Mitchelstown three-day festival are Sigala and Mylo.

Early bird tickets for the festival have sold out, leaving three-day camping tickets now on sale from €139 and VIP tickets on sale for on €179. tickets.ie.

INDIE18 runs from August 3 to 5 next year.

“We will be announcing a lot more acts in 2018,” said organiser Shane Dunne, “but wanted to give Indie fans something to look forward to before Christmas. Thanks to everyone who has bought tickets so far and we look forward to sharing some really big names with you in the new year.”

Previous international acts to grace the scenic foothills of the Galtee Mountains include Basement Jaxx, Public Enemy and Editors.
