A couple have shared photos of themselves on Twitter falling into a fountain.

Elaina Vecchio and her boyfriend, Nino, were on a night out when they decided to pose for photos, just to cap off a great night.

However, they didn't take into account the fact they were perched precariously next to a fountain.

Elaina's tweet has gone viral, reaching nearly 75,000 retweets and inspiring people to share photos of when they took a dive.
