Groom carries Irish bride down aisle after car crash that broke her pelvis

A video of an Irish bride lifted from her wheelchair and carried down the aisle by her groom has gone viral.

23-year-old Hannah Patterson was in a car accident in July which left her with a broken pelvis.

However, she wasn't going to let her injury ruin her big day when she was to marry her childhood sweetheart.

Hannah and Stuart, both from Tyrone, got married in August in Ontario.

The video, posted by videographer Emily Suzanne Harris, shows Hannah being wheeled up the aisle by her father and then being picked up by her groom.

According to the Belfast Telegraph Hannah says she's "doing better, having a slow recovery, but it's going in the right direction".
