This guy proposed at a Dublin festival at the weekend and it was just lovely

He proposed during The National set with a tinfoil ring.

While everyone was dancing, drinking and generally having a good time, one couple were sharing a very special moment during The National's set at Longitude on Sunday evening.

As the sun was going down on the Marlay Park festival, the American band launched into their song 'I Need My Girl' and a guy in the crowd took his cue to get down on one knee and propose to his girlfriend.

She looks a bit confused at first, but that quickly turns to delight when she realises what's going on.

Although some people were still a bit confused.

While we can't hear her answer, judging from the onlookers' reactions, it's safe to say she said yes - and it was a real proposal, despite the fact the ring was made of tinfoil.

From the look on her face, we don’t think she minds.
