This tiny puppy has to wear children's socks to keep warm
Little puppy Arthur is in the care of the RSPCA after being handed in just a few weeks old, sick and suffering from hypothermia.
The teeny tiny puppy was taken from his mother at just five weeks old and sold, but soon encountered difficulties as he was too young to leave his mother.
By the time he reached the RSPCA he was in a bad way, scared, cold and suffering from stomach problems.

Deputy manager Liz Wood, who has been caring for little Arthur since he arrived at the centre said when they first met him, he had no interest in socialising or eating and spent his time sleeping.
Soon though, after a lot of TLC Arthur was on the road to recovery thanks to the care and attention from the RSPCA crew.
At eight weeks old he now weighs 600grams and is four inches tall.
A big problem for the tiny Chihuahua cross puppy was his exposure and sensitivity to the cold which the RSPCA solved by wrapping him up in children’s socks with little holes cut for his legs.

It’s a feel good story with a happy ending as Arthur already has a foster home waiting for him when he is well enough to leave the RSPCA.
We wish him all the best in his new home
