VIDEO: Israeli reporter accidentally stabbed in the back during demonstration

An Israeli reporter Eitam Lachover had an unfortunate accident at work the other day when he was stabbed in the back during a demonstration.

The man was asked to help show the effectiveness of a 'stab-proof' vest, however the vest proved less effective than expected.

During the demonstration the knife went through the vest and wounded the reporter in the back.

Mr Lachover ended up in hospital getting stitches following the demonstration.

Vice-president of the company that designed the vest, Yaniv This person is either a genius or spends a bit too much time with their mother, either way this is a highly entertaining video worth watching.

Montakyo, told Channel 2 TV that the reporter had been stabbed in a part of the vest that had no protective material.

Despite the unfortunate incident an earlier take that had been successful was broadcast.

In Israel stabbing attacks are a serious problem with 19 Israelis and an American student killed since mid September from stabbing.
