Dublin truck tries to beat level crossing, fails miserably

Iarnród Éireann tweeted out a video of an incident that took place at the Merrion Gates crossing in Dublin. Despite the signals warning him to stop, a truck driver drove through the crossing as the barriers began to fall.

As you can see, he didn't make it across in time, causing significant damage to the barriers. The drivers details have since been passed on the Gardaí.

Iarnród Éireann report that there were delays of 15 minutes after the incident but what got most people's attention was their sly dig with that hashtag.
