Cleaners throw out art installation because it looked like rubbish

Well, in fairness, it was rubbish.

An art installation that resembled the aftermath of a big party was thrown out by museum cleaners because, well, it resembled the aftermath of a big party.

The installation - called “Where shall we go dancing tonight?” - of empty champagne bottles, strewn confetti and party banners was on display at the Museion Bozen-Bolzano in Italy and was supposed to be a commentary on the consumerism and excess of the 1980s.
