Twitter remembers tragic day with poignant hashtag 'Neverforget9/11'

On Twitter the hashtag #Neverforget9/11 is trending with thousands of people tweeting words of solidarity and kindness for the 3,000 people that died in the tragedy and the thousands others who were injured.

A memorial is being held today in New York for the tragedy that took place 14 years ago when two planes crashed into the World Trade Centre’s twin towers.

The memorial, which is the largest one to date, will take place at the National September 11 Memorial Museum.
