VIDEO: Couple find bear hanging out in their pool

He just needed to relax after a long day of being a bear.

We may not like to think about it but in other parts of the world, they are enjoying a warm August.

And, in some places, if you can believe it, it's getting a bit too hot.

Like in Vancouver where the weather is very muggy at the moment, and if you had a pool as this local couple do, you might be tempted to take a dip.

Just check for bears first.

Denise and Tony Diering were a little bemused to see the black bear go for a relaxing soak in their pool and adjoining hot tub the other day before strolling away through a hole it had made in their fence.

Tony believes the bear was a male and noticed it had been tagged by wildlife officials. He's also a bit concerned that the bear will come back:

"In the neighbourhood there are a lot of small kids and obviously it's a safety concern for our neighbours," he said.

"I just hope the bear can get the message and basically go somewhere else."

It's just hard to find a decent pool up in the mountains, you know?
