Norway's female footballers confess they can't play in this brilliant parody
Women's football - like women's any-other-sport - gets a tough time. But now, Norway's NRK media station can, in exclusive interviews, reveal narrow-minded pundits have been right all along.
"I tend to pick the ball up with my hands," said Emilie Haave (World Cup player, 78 goals). "Suddenly I forget myself and oh, crap - handball."
"Lesbians. Lesbians everywhere," confesses Cathrine Dekkerhus (Champions League, 18 goals). "It's teeming with them".
And, of course, the offside rule is too complex for their pretty little heads.
The great little parody, in which the country's top female players delve into the stereotypes with glee to show up exactly how ridiculous they are, has clocked up almost half a million views since it was uploaded - despite being entirely in Norwegian.
We particularly like when they make suggestions for the improvement of the game. "HAHAHA these suggestions made my day. LOL" wrote Sepp Blatter in response.
