This lightning strike at a Dublin college campus made us jump

The lightning struck the ground at the Institute of Technology in Blanchardstown.

Students, this is a sign from the heavens - stay in the library.

At least until your exams are over.

The weather last night deteriorated into wind and rain and Nicola Duffy of the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown managed to capture this dramatic footage of a bolt of lightning striking the ground in the middle of the Dublin campus.
