Sky News synced the UK's leading politicians to sing Boyz II Men

Just a few hours after the UK parliament was dissolved ahead of the May 7 election, Sky News released their election coverage promotional video — featuring the party leaders singing Boyz II Men.

Cleanly and cleverly edited by the professionals, the so-called 'ballot ballad' is a pretty good way to advertise political news.

Cut free from the bonds of impartial news reporting that Sky News have, YouTube editors Cassetteboy also compiled an electoral song.

Their supercut, titled "The Emperor's New Clothes Rap", is part of a collaboration with Russell Brand of the same name – and isn't nearly as nice about the candidates.

Great political satire – And there's still a month to go.
