Woman searching for her cats finds a burglar hiding under her bed instead
Are you the type to check all the rooms when you get home alone?
Well, last week, a woman searching for her cats in her house found a burglar hiding underneath her bed instead.
The 61-year-old woman in Palm Springs, Florida, was searching her home for her two roaming cats when she reached under her bed - but instead of finding fur, touched human skin instead, police said.
Florida's carried the story this week about the unusual incident in which a stranger, who had attracted attention in the area by knocking on doors, was seen near the back door of the woman's home before the incident.

Once discovered in his under-the-bed hiding place, the suspect, later identified as 25-year-old Lake Worth man named Christian Vatovec, ran from the house.
The woman - whose name was not released - said he had stolen a gold bracelet and a digital camera.
He was later caught by police by a nearby canal and brought back to the house, where he was positively identified by the woman. He faces charges of burglary, grand theft, and resisting arrest.
Perhaps checking under the bed isn't such a childish idea after all.
