VIDEO: Hippo swims frighteningly fast after boat

Who knew they could swim so fast?

In this terifying footage filmed by Craig Jackson in Zambia and posted to Facebook by Michael Varndell, an animal beneath the water swims swiftly after the boat before launching itself out of the water.

So is it a crocodile? Maybe a shark?

No, it's a hippo - one of those animals that you might forget is actuallly quite dangerous.

And fast.
