VIDEO: Derry lad gives UTV his two cents on all this snow

Well, now we know - to make a viral video, all you have to do is put an Irish man in the snow.

Earlier today, we brought you the very funny video of two Sligo lads reacting to the first snowfall of 2015 - it's been watched more than a million times and reached the front-page of Reddit videos.

But there's another video doing the rounds this morning - this one showing a young Derry lad being interviewed by UTV Ireland about the walk to school in the snow.

The video was posted to Reddit with the caption "Give up just 16 seconds of your day to hear potentially the greatest accent ever to grace the ears of mankind" with commenters simultaneously charmed and confused by the strong Derry accent:

"I have no idea what was just said."

"Hard to believe we speak the same language as him after listening to that"

"That is a glorious accent. I want him to read me erotic novels for fun."

"Is this how new languages are born? The accent gets so strong you stop speaking English?"

If you're in need of a translation, here's what's actually being said:

Reporter: 'It was a wintry walk to school in Park village. But, they're a hardy breed in these parts.'

Boy: 'Well the mother says we have to go anyway so we hadn't much choice in the matter.'

Reporter: 'Is it a cold journey to school this morning?'

Boy: 'Oh God, you wouldn't be long getting frostbit'

Granted, it does sound like he's saying "frost-butt" but we're fairly sure that's not right.
