There's nothing like a good fireworks display, is there? But this explosion at a pyrotechnics factory in Colombia puts all other displays to shame.

While it may have just missed New Year's Eve, the explosion that happened in the small town of Granada outside Bogota on Sunday set off a volley of bangs, pops and whistles that would make anyone 'oooh' and 'aaah'.

Cameraman Carlos Espinoza was filming the blaze at the factory when he was knocked off his feet by the force of the blast. He then hid behind a vehicle as the fireworks continued to be fired in all directions across the countryside.

A local news agency reported that roads were closed and that a driver passing by at the time had been slightly injured.
