Green cat stuns locals in Bulgarian city

We bet the other cats are green with envy.

A green cat has perplexed residents in the Bulgarian city of Varna.

Don’t worry, he is not some crazy new bred of super cat - nor is he radioactive.

The feline had originally sparked a public outcry after it was thought he may have been spray painted by humans, but it is now been discovered the cat slept on some synthetic green paint and licked himself into the turquoise state.

Despite him looking rather handsome in his new colour, locals have tried in vain to catch the kitty in order to clean him up.

However, he is proving to be too quick for them and remains in his current green state.

It’s not easy being green you know!
