It's a thankless job being a roving TV reporter, traveling at short notice to random places, dealing with the public and being prepared for all sorts of on-air shenanigans and all while remaining calm and composed.
And they have to put up with the vagaries of live TV - being licked, accidentally swallowing flies on air - and now being hit in the head by skateboards.
