Was yesterday's downpour Irish Water's fault?

Welll, we can't prove it but this letter to the Irish Times suggests it.

It's been a good week for Letters to the Editor.

On Tuesday, we brought you this powerful letter from a Cork mother who was moved to write to the Indo to describe the financial difficulties facing her family.

But today's gem is a bit lighter.

After yesterday's biblical deluge - that left most of the country very damp with many roads still impassable - one Padraig J O' Connor wrote to the Irish times, drollly linking the downpour to everyone's favourite topic - Irish Water
