VIDEO: Guitar-playing camper attacked by rabid bat

The bat ruined his jam AND bit him. He's fine, though.

Derrick Skou was just trying to play some nice tunes for his fellow campers out at Pinhead Creek in Oregon when he was rudely interrupted by a rabid bat.

The bat flew in out of nowhere, landing on Derrick's chest before climbing up to his neck and biting him.

So that is absolutely horrifying.

His friend's reaction: "That was a new one!"

Skou's friends reportedly killed the bat with a BB gun and brought it to the Multnomah County Health Department which found the bat had rabies.

Derrick will now have to undergo a series of injections to ensure he doesn't contract the potentially deadly disease.
