This poor Irish girl's Ice Bucket Challenge went very, very wrong

She got some whack...

Poor old Teresina Bell just wanted to do her part for charity and do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge (which has completely taken over our Facebook feeds, by the way).

But while it starts off fine and she completes it admirably, what happens next is a little hard to watch.

Ouch... That's some whack, isn't it?

Teresina has since posted to Facebook that while she's on the mend, she "did do some damage. Whip lash to the neck. Swollen forehead, jaw, busted lip and sore tooth, cuts and bruises on my face but I am healing".

Yikes.

As her friends (un)helpfully pointed out, at least she had plenty of ice to hand...
