This is what your bones look like when you move

Remember: you've got bones inside you. Lots of them.

Here's a reminder: you're being held up by a skeleton that gives you shape and allows you to move, like an elborate piece of scaffolding.

And here's what it looks like.

These shots were created by orthopeadic surgeon Dr Noah Weiss, from California, as a demonstration of how our musculoskeletal system works.

His raw video was when taken up by artist Cameron Drake, who created a series of short and snappy animated Gifs to show the most common movement types.

You can see more at the original videos uploaded by Dr Weiss on his YouTube channel, where he has posted the hand, elbow, shoulder, knee, and foot x-ray clips.

Just as cool as the demonstration of how your stomach acid eats a cheeseburger.
